Role Overview

Sommelier Responsibilities:

  • Curate and manage the wine list in collaboration with the restaurant team

  • Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings to enhance guest experiences

  • Train and guide staff on wine knowledge and service standards

  • Oversee wine storage, inventory, and ordering

  • Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service

Junior Sommelier Responsibilities:

  • Support daily wine service operations

  • Assist guests with wine selections and pairings

  • Maintain stock levels and proper storage

  • Develop wine knowledge through training and hands-on experience

  • Deliver attentive and professional guest service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sommelier or junior sommelier role (or strong FOH experience with wine focus)

  • Solid knowledge of wine service and pairings (WSET or similar certification is an advantage)

  • Passion for wine and commitment to professional growth

  • Excellent communication and guest service skills

  • Professional presentation and attention to detail

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
