Senior Chef de Partie – Malta

Net Salary: € 1,550.83 – € 1,847.47

Role Overview

  • Lead and manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest quality and consistency standards
  • Supervise and mentor Commis and Demi Chefs within the section
  • Ensure proper mise en place, stock control, and food cost awareness
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development and operational planning
  • Step in to oversee kitchen operations in the absence of senior management when required

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume or fine-dining environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
