Role Overview
- Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen sections during service
- Ensure dishes are prepared and presented to high quality and consistency standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste
- Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety compliance
- Train and guide Commis and Demi Chefs
- Contribute to menu development and operational improvements
- Take responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of senior chefs when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior CDP in a high-volume or fine-dining environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Leadership potential with good team management skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
