Role Overview
- Lead and supervise the waitstaff team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Provide attentive and professional service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Oversee order taking and ensure food and beverages are served accurately and promptly
- Maintain high standards of presentation for dishes and drinks
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including table setup and resetting
- Support restaurant setup and breakdown before and after service
- Monitor polishing of plates, glassware, and cutlery to maintain service standards
- Work closely with the kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Train, mentor, and support team members to uphold service excellence
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or in a similar supervisory hospitality role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
