Join a dynamic hospitality venue in Malta and play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and smooth operation of the kitchen and back-of-house areas. We are looking for reliable and hardworking Stewards who take pride in supporting high service standards.
Role Overview
As a Steward, you will:
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
- Wash and properly store dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen tools
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, workstations, and storage areas
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling according to hygiene standards
- Support kitchen staff with basic tasks when required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain organisation of stock and cleaning supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stewarding or cleaning role is an advantage
- Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
