Head Bartender – Mixologist – Malta

Net Salary: € 1,160.83 – € 1,226.00

Role Overview

As Head Bartender – Mixologist, you will:

  • Lead and supervise daily bar operations to ensure smooth and efficient service

  • Create and develop innovative cocktail menus aligned with the venue’s concept

  • Maintain consistency, presentation, and quality of all beverages served

  • Train, mentor, and motivate bartenders and bar staff

  • Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards

  • Engage with guests, providing expert recommendations and memorable experiences

  • Monitor bar performance and implement improvements to drive revenue

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender, or Mixologist in a high-volume or premium venue

  • Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, and mixology techniques

  • Leadership skills with experience managing a bar team

  • Creativity and passion for beverage innovation

  • Strong organisational and cost-control abilities

  • Excellent communication and guest engagement skills

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
