Role Overview
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will:
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold high service standards
- Assist in monitoring financial performance, cost control, and productivity
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Support staff training, scheduling, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Step in to lead operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Guest-focused mindset with excellent communication abilities
- Good understanding of restaurant operations and cost control
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Professional presentation and attention to detail
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
