Role Overview
- Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure consistency, portion control, and high presentation standards at all times
- Supervise and support Commis and Demi Chefs within the section
- Monitor stock levels and ensure proper food storage and rotation (FIFO)
- Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth service operations
- Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement of dishes
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Leadership ability and experience supervising junior team members
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
